ASCon Systems at the 4th Esslinger Forum: Internet of Things

On July 03, 2019, the Fraunhofer Institute IAO and the Department of Information Technology at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences,  Application Center KEIM, held their 4th Esslinger Forum event. Interested visitors got informed about current trends and applications about the topic Internet of Things. In the exhibition area, participants could exchange ideas and build networks with innovative companies.

Mathias Stach, CEO of ASCon Systems GmbH, adressed to the audience the topic of IoT with his keynote “The Digital Twin – Driving the Digital Transformation – Transparency for complex product and plant structures”. He presented how to empower manufacturing companies in digitalizing their manufacturing processes, production planning, logistics processes and process-accompanying quality management. He presented a number of customer use cases who already apply the Digital Twin in industrial operations.

ASCon System’s solution portfolio is based on a real-time model for controlling production and synchronizing planning and production. Through modular Apps that communicate with each other, ASCon closes process gaps and prevents waste in the digital value stream.
